A = cont. litri 2,40 vaso Airplant* cm 13x13x18 cont. litri 3 diametro vaso cm 18 cont. litri 7/9 diametro vaso cm 22/24 cont. litri 15/18 diametro vaso cm 28/30 cont. litri 45 diametro vaso cm 45 cont. litri 70 diametro vaso cm 55 * il contenitore Airplant conferisce un particolare vigore all’apparato radicale.
Dear customer, The size of the plants follows European standards that are not always so easy to understand, especially for people who are not accustomed with the industry standards. An explanation of the sizes is therefore provided below. Circ. cm = circumference of the trunk, as measured one metre above ground. This measurement, in cm, refers to the size of a standard plant. From that, experts can argue its height as well. There may be height differences with different types of plants. The bare trunk of trees can usually range between 1.80 m and 2.20 m. To make things easier for you, please find below an approximate table: circ. cm 12/14 height 2.50/3 m circ. cm 14/16 height 2.50/3 m circ. cm 16/18 height 3/4 m circ. cm 18/20 height 3/5 m circ. cm 20/25 height 4/5 m circ. cm 25/30 height 5/6 m circ. cm 30/35 height 6/7 m circ. cm 35/40 height 7/8 m Cont. litres = Container litres It gives the volume of the container in which the plant is placed and gives an idea of its size. For instance, a 3-litre container is equivalent to a vase having a diameter of 18 cm, which usually contains young plants of about two years of age. A = cont. litres 2,40 Airplant* vase cm 13x13x18 cont. litres 3 vase diameter cm 18 cont. litres 7/9 vase diameter cm 22/24 cont. litres 15/18 vase diameter cm 28/30 cont. litres 45 vase diameter cm 45 cont. litres 70 vase diameter cm 55 * Airplant vases strengthen the root system. Height cm = height of the plant, in centimetres. It is taken from the collar (at the junction between the roots and the stem) through to the tip, excluding the clod or container. Short trees are marked with the symbol

The origin of our company dates back to 1909, when Casimiro Mati opened a farming business for the production of vegetables, fruits and fruit trees. Since then, the company has changed type of its products and has increased in size, while still following Casimiro’s ambition: to stand out for its quality standards. La prima targa del 1909

For about one hundred years, the Mati family have always striven to keep this tradition alive through the assistance of university researchers, technicians and landscape gardeners, producing and selecting plants to fulfil the requirements of an everchanging market. Their research has given rise to new technology for growing and strengthening the root system, which make it easier for the plants to take root, systems for keeping large specimens out of the ground and planting machines.
In our eighty hectares’ nurseries, we grow our plants in accordance with our family and regional traditions (plant-growing has a 156-year-old history in Pistoia), with ancient systems that we combine with cutting-edge technology to produce trees, shrubs, conifers and roses, for landscape, gardens and city landscaping. Strong plants, which in just a short time can produce luxuriant and long-lasting vegetation.
